Thank you! I think that the most important thing I can instill in my daughter is a sense of wonder and curiosity. This memoir is full of snapshots of my life at certain points. Some of them are happy moments, some are sad, some are terrifying, and others are ugly. But all of them are interesting. And having a good literary background creates the foundation for having an interesting, wonderful, and curious life. I do hope she (and hopefully many others) choose to adopt this method for getting that foundation. It certainly worked for me.
